OGR's
Ten Days of Prayer has been a real blessing! We had over 1830 churches
registered in over 80 countries, and countless others who participated.
We are getting testimonies from around the world of people who have
come back to church and who have recommitted their lives to the Lord.
We are hearing testimonies of reconciliation, healing, revival and
reformation. But this is only the beginning for we are told that God's
work in the last days is to swell into the loud cry.
As a result of these Ten Days of
Prayer, we believe that God is preparing a people through prayer to do
mighty things. It with great anticipation that the OGR team shares that
What Next?for Operation Global Rain. After much prayer and
contemplation we have found two quotes that carry major significance
for the future and success of OGR. Please read them carefully.
"I
saw jets of light shining from cities and villages, and from the high
places and the low places of the earth. God's Word was obeyed, and as a
result there were memorials for Him in every city and village. His
truth was proclaimed throughout the world... Hundreds and thousands
were seen visiting families, and opening before them the Word of God.
Hearts were convicted by the power of the Holy Spirit, and a spirit of
genuine conversion was manifest. On every side doors were thrown open
to the proclamation of the truth. The world seemed to be lightened with
the heavenly influence."--Testimonies, vol. 9, p. 126."The great outpouring of the Spirit of God, which lightens the whole earth with His glory, will not come until we have an enlightened people, that know by experience what it means to be laborers together with God. When we have entire, wholehearted consecration to the service of Christ, God will recognize the fact by an outpouring of His Spirit without measure but this will not be while the largest portion of the church are not laborers together with God. God cannot pour out His Spirit when selfishness and\nself-indulgence are so manifest; when a spirit prevails that, if put into words, would express that answer of Cain,--"Am I my brothers keeper?"--R. It has been thrilling to watch the global map on the OGR website light up! God's Spirit will fall in its fullest measure on a working church! As we pray and preach, God will swell and reach. While many have put into action their plans to "Light the Globe", other have written us to provide a basic and adaptable plan to follow. OGR 360 seeks to help us fulfill God's vision for His Church. It is a plan including three 120 day cycles, further broken down into a 10/110 plan. (10 Days of Prayer/110 Days of Action).
OGR 360 will begin with another 10 days of prayer from January 2nd to January 11th, 2008. This gives us roughly six months time for other churches to register. The following 110 days will be dedicated to a massive and global rescue mission for inactive and former Seventh-day Adventists. We leave this to each church to decide how to best reach their former or inactive members, brothers and sisters, sons and daughters, fathers and mothers. The focus of these Ten days of prayer will be on our missing members as well as a continued emphasis on the early and latter rain. Resources will also be provided on the web-page.
Then from May 1st -10th, there will be another 10 days of prayer followed by 110 days of an intense and massive grassroots global outreach mission for non Adventists . This means "hundreds and thousands" of God's people setting aside one day or more a week, for one hour or more to simultaneously and intentionally do outreach to non Adventists through bible studies, tracts, and "visiting families". The goal is to tactfully take the 3 angel's messages centered in the cross to our neighbors. Finally, from August 27 to September 5th, we will hold one more 10 day prayer event followed up by an additional 110 days of active and intentional outreach to our communities. This will make 2008 a complete cycle (360) of intentional global prayer and outreach. This is our opportunity to arise and shine. This is the time for the timid to exercise boldness and the weak to say "I am strong". Joel 3:10. Here is our opportunity to be a part of those "hundreds and thousands" seen in prophetic vision doing the work God has given each and every one of us to do, that of winning souls. And as we go, God will grow. As we pray and teach, God will swell and reach! Our actions on earth will be empowered by action from heaven! Each and every one of counts. " And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever." Daniel 12:3. Let us take to the world the revelation of God's character, and the righteousness of Christ our sin pardoning Redeemer.
May OGR 360 be the largest simultaneous "evangelistic series" this world has ever seen!
